The Hussy called to let me know how things were going down home. I was glad to hear from her, but it also made me a little homesick, how come she gets to have all the fun. The Hussy did tell me that everyone (and she means everyone) asked her where I was and why she didn’t bring me down.
SEE HUSSY PEOPLE WANT TO SEE ME AS WELL! Even though I was stuck here in Beantown it is good to know that my two-legged friends miss me.
My oh my has the Hussy been busy since she got home. She hung out with Dad (mine not hers) yesterday. They ran up to Tampa Humidor to grab some cigars that the Hussy and Mean Step-Dad can’t get up here, and then went back to the Grandparents to smoke by the pool. Oh how I miss hanging out by the pool at the grandparents…..but I digress.
I guess it was a good thing that I wasn’t there this time because the afternoon thundershower turned into a crazy storm that included half-inch hail. Of course this all started about five minutes after they lit up their cigars so they were stock in the garage until it all blew over. Which it did and made for an even nicer evening.
After a quick Happy Hour at Wings Gone Wild and dinner at Miguel’s it was off to the airport to surprise Grandpa, and boy was he surprised (or so the Hussy says). I was worried they would give the man a heart attack scaring him like that, but I guess it wasn’t all that scary of a surprise. J
Next day was helping out around the house, getting painting done, and then off to the Mayor’s house for some homemade Latin Cuisine, and hanging out with friends. The Hussy had two whole plates full and would have had more but she couldn’t fit it in her stomach. So much for that diet she was trying to be on. But I guess I don’t blame her we haven’t found any Latin food up here and let’s be honest homemade with love is the best kind of food anyway.
After everyone ate, drank, and was merry they headed up to the Bungalow once again to see The Hussy’s favorite bartender have a few drinks and keep the party going.
On this end Mean Step-Dad invited Aunt C over so she could help him bake a Cookie Cake for his friend’s birthday that was in from NY. Not sure why they asked Mean Step-Dad to bake anything, but at least he had the smarts to enlist the help of Aunt C so that the cake was yummy. Of course, after the baking everyone left me and I was forced to bond with the Feline. I swear I never get to do anything fun!
Finally the two-leggeds came home, quite a few of them and we had our own party. Ha take that Hussy!! You know how I love new two-leggeds in the house I get so much attention and so much love.
Not sure what is up on the agenda for any of us tomorrow, but I will be sure to let you know when I find out. So make sure you check back, see if the Hussy really does come back from Fla, or if she just sends for her stuff and me.
